They used to have some small signup credit, I think. Not sure about a full 'free trial' though, maybe a day or two's worth of credit?

I got a small amount of credit when I signed up which basically covered a couple of days. You don't usually see long free trials with VPS providers, especially with pay-per-day.

Yeah they're real. Focus on European data centers and pay-per-day is their thing. Not as huge as DigitalOcean but they're not a scam or anything.

For basic stuff, yeah, it's pretty comparable. If you're doing super heavy compute, DO or Vultr might have better high-end options, but for most projects, VPS.one holds up.

I use both. VPS.one is great for things where you might spin up and down a lot, or if you only need it for a few days. For long-term, always-on stuff, the others might have better pricing models overall sometimes, but performance-wise it's not bad at all.
